I'm Shamila — but please feel free to call me Sham. I'm genuinely excited to be part of this MBA program. It's been a pleasure learning online and getting to know all of you.
First of all, congratulations to each of you on taking this bold step in pursuing your MBA!
I bring with me over 25 years of work experience across various industries including shipping, airlines, events, F&B, retail, trading, and most recently, the film and building licensing sector. I currently serve as the Head of Department for both companies I’m involved in, and I absolutely love what I do.
I love comedy movies, yet my alltime favourite movies are The Green Mile and The Lord of the Rings — both deeply resonate with me because of their strong themes of humanity and the quality of divine love which has the power to overcome all odds.
Looking forward to learning and growing with all of you on this journey!
Warm regards,
Sham
I am coming from Kemaman, Terengganu. Maybe if certain of us know that the main industries at Kemaman is Oil and Gas. Most of the organizations and companies was supporting Oil and Gas industries. I am not working with the PSC (Production Sharing Companies) like Petronas or Exxonmobil, but I am working with the companies that support Oil and Gas activities.
I am responsible to taking care of Kemaman Branch. The reason I am applying to further study in MBA is, MBA will helps me to learn how to run a branch more effectively. It also can guide me the skills in managing people, handling money, solving problems, and planning for growth. It also helps me move up in my career and connect with other professionals who can support my carrier journey.
Furthermore, I like watching horror movies as a me time. They are fun and exciting, and I enjoy the suspense and scary moments. Even though they are creepy, they help me relax and take my mind off things. It’s like a thrill without any real danger.
That is all from me and thank you.
